Mycology is a term used to describe the scientific study of mould or fungi. It is similar but different to microbiology since microbiologists mainly deal with unicellular organisms (bacteria), while mould/fungi are biologically significantly more complex.
What is that fungus? It’s a lot more than just: green, black, yellow, white, orange, fuzzy or cottony!!! Is it toxic? Is it common? Is it rare? Are there spores present?

Uses traditional Petri plate agar media for differentiation of fungi, bacteria and yeasts
Uses spore traps or tape lifts for differentiation of fungi, bacteria, dusts, skin cells, pollen and yeasts
Uses other biochemical tests as required
Uses genomic testing as required
Uses microscopy and image-analysis as appropriate
Results returned in written format that is fully referenced to Industry Standards and Guidelines
